IIES. AND MANOS SANGRADOS PRESENT

SPRING INTO ACTION
MUSIC SHOWCASE

...THE FIRST OF MANY ACTIONS TO COME

Picture

no kings rally denver march 28th

In response to the current state of America and the way its people are being treated, Manos Sangrados and IIES are launching our first-ever "Spring into Action" event.

This urgent call to action is motivated by the attacks on families and communities and the rising cost of living. We refuse to remain silent. We will actively defend ourselves against the unjust violence promoted by this administration. America belongs to its people, not to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule by fear.

As President Trump attempts to control us, the people must unite to protect each other and our country. We will not surrender our freedoms. Join us on March 28th in Denver, CO, for the No Kings pt. 3 rally to overcome this repression.

first things first...

In the current climate, where social oppression is a tangible reality directed against immigrants, minorities, and even American Citizens, the need for community action and support is more vital than ever. That is why iies. is proudly collaborating with Manos Sagrados to present this meaningful event. The "Spring into Action" showcase is a live musical experience designed to be more than just a concert—it is a platform for solidarity and a benefit for the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC).

This movement offers an essential opportunity not only to directly support the vital work of CIRC—which stands on the front lines protecting the rights and dignity of immigrants and refugees—but also to actively participate in a community that is using its collective voice right now. We are coming together to promote the protection of fundamental human rights, defend the freedom of speech, and preserve the richness of cultural sacredness that makes our society vibrant.

ABOUT

Picture

spring into action music showcase ?

This continued community event is designed to gather and empower a strong collective of inspired, motivated individuals dedicated to making positive change, starting within their local communities.

"Spring into Action" is the inaugural event following the release of iies.’s powerful anthem, “No Kings.” This politically charged song addresses the ongoing challenges of manipulative national government figures who use their positions of status to divide, dismantle, and racially segregate the populace.

Born as a direct response, "Spring into Action" offers more than just a musical showcase of powerful voices from Denver, CO. It also provides essential educational, social, and protective services intended as preventative measures against political unrest during times of a hateful regime.

For this pilot year, iies. partnered with Manos Sangrados, which serves as a vital community gateway—offering numerous opportunities and acting as a cultural station of expression for Black and Brown individuals alike. They have chosen to support the Colorado Rights Coalition in light of recent targeted attacks on the immigrant population who are legally present but are being racially profiled and unjustly imprisoned in private facilities, against the will of Colorado’s people. This event is an embodiment of fighting back!

We are proud to have had Ink Lounge and Indivisible Denver as sponsors this year. Both offered services designed to generate and empower the evening's guests. All were invited to participate! Indivisible representatives shared knowledge at the doors, and Ink Lounge provided printed keepsakes to keep at our March 14th event keeping our message alive.

INKLOUNGE

who is inklounge?

Ink Lounge's mission began with designing and screen-printing prints to distribute at protests, offering a tangible way for people to feel involved. The true hope is that these prints serve as a daily reminder at home, reinforcing the inspiration to show up and continue supporting crucial community and personal issues.

As a single-person studio, Ink Lounge leverages its resources to create events, posters, and T-shirts, actively raising and donating funds to local artists and community causes. The studio is dedicated to consistently supporting social issues, having distributed thousands of prints at protests, marches, and rallies.

WHAT WILL THEY DO FOR THE EVENT?

IIES. (Headline act)

Picture
iies. is a revolutionary musical collective committed to appreciating and accepting all diverse perspectives,
which are integral to their musical mission, components, and expressions. They have designated their unique style "Experimental Jazz Rap," with sound that unifies various musical perspectives by incorporating their wide ranging inspirations and ideas; their style could not be achieved
without the acknowledgment of the cultures that have preceded them to create such engaging and sonically diverse music. They stand for the protection of immigrant rights and sanctity as these "immigrants" being demonized have blessed the soil, helped shape the musical culture, and embellish not only Denver, CO
but the world we know today.
